Category 4 Winner: The Village Bean

We are pleased to announce the business that received the most votes from the coffee category of our "Best of Windham" Business Tournament: The Village Bean.

The coffee shop will move on to the second round of our tournament, which is slated for June 4. The winners of categories 5 and 6, which will be voted on in the next two weeks, will join The Village Bean for a vote at that time.

We saw a dropoff in votes this week, and would love to see more participation in the categories moving forward! Talk to all of your friends, family, colleagues and others in town and let them know that our business tournament is going on.

Next week, we will vote on the best restaurant category. This is sure to be a lively competition.

As always, the poll with a list of businesses will open on Monday morning. You will have until next Friday to vote, which can be done by commenting directly on the article or by emailing michael.ryan@patch.com.
