Category 7 Winners: The Valentine Group, Sovereign Bank

We are pleased to announce the businesses that received the most votes from the financial institution category of our "Best of Windham" Business Tournament: The Valentine Group and Sovereign Bank.

Both businesses will both move on to the second round of our tournament, which is slated for June 11. They will square off against the winners of categories 8 and 9.

We would love to see more participation in the categories moving forward! Talk to all of your friends, family, colleagues and others in town and let them know that our business tournament is going on.

Next week, we will vote on the best auto repair/sales/service businesses in town!

As always, the poll with a list of businesses will open on Monday morning. You will have until next Friday to vote, which can be done by commenting directly on the article or by emailing michael.ryan@patch.com.
