The warrants will be debated and discussed during a deliberative session in February.

The Windham School District has released the document containing all of its proposed warrants for 2012 town meeting.

The six total articles were debated and signed off on by all five school board members following a Jan. 23 meeting.

The board, which originally intended to combine architectural fees for a new facility with a Capital Reserve Fund article, has now drafted an article with more clarity about the new seventh and eighth grade school.

It reads as follows:

Shall the Windham School District vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $714,000 (seven hundred and fourteen thousand dollars) for architect and engineering fees to prepare drawings and to develop a guaranteed maximum price contract for a grade 7 and 8 school on London Bridge Road? Construction of this project will not commence without future action by the voters. This appropriation is included as part of the Windham Capital Improvement plan.

The five other articles include one related to portables, open officer positions, the splitting from SAU 28, funds for the School Building and Grounds Maintenance Fund and the operating budget.

That operating budget article does not include appropriations proposed in any other warrant articles.
