District, Teachers Reach Contract Agreement

The Eagle Tribune reported this week that the Windham School District and its teachers have reached a contract agreement that will be voted on in March.

The report added that the contract will save the district $600,000 in the first year of the agreement, which would last three years.

Details of the contract will be discussed during the School Deliberative Session, scheduled for Feb. 8.

Two other public meetings will take place next week. First, an opportunity will be granted to voters on Jan. 8 to meet the superintendent finalists.

On Jan. 11, a bond and budget hearing will take place in the WHS auditorium.
