Does NH Have Your Money?
The state treasurer holds funds until they are claimed by the owner or an heir. Find out if you've got money waiting for you.

The state of New Hampshire holds on to unclaimed funds until they are claimed by a rightful owner or that person's heirs – and some of that may be yours. Many people who have unclaimed cash don't even know about it. What is unclaimed property?
"Unclaimed assets include, but are not limited to: savings or checking accounts, uncashed checks, payroll and wages, matured certificates of deposit, stocks, bonds or mutual funds, travelers' checks or money orders, gift certificates, insurance company demutualization proceeds and death benefits from life insurance policies," according to the New Hampshire State Treasury website.
It does not include real estate or vehicles.
