4th of July Boat Parade on Canobie Lake

The Canobie Lake Protective Association will continue its long-standing tradition of holding a boat parade at 1:00 PM on the 4th of July. The parade will start at “Rocky Point” and proceed around the lake, returning to Rocky Point.  Judges in kayaks will observe the boats along the parade route.  Prizes (first, second and third place) will be awarded for patriotic decorations of the boats.  The Association thanks its generous sponsor, Canobie Lake Park.  For more specifics on the parade and other Association activities, please go to the Association’s website: http://www.canobielake.org

All sizes and types of boats are welcome. The parade will be lead by the first place prize winner in the 2011 parade, Mark and Joanne Young.

Shoreline observers are encouraged to wave and cheer from the shore.
