GOALS:
The main goal of the Go Green Fair/Farmer’s
Market is to raise awareness that we should all try to leave a smaller carbon footprint. In some cases the vendors at the upcoming fair use more recycled materials. In some cases the vendors are League of N.H. Craftsmen or more local and therefore, their products do not need to be purchased from other states and delivered - reducing the amount of gas and energy required to obtain the
product. In some cases, the vendor's main production plan uses 100% wind or solar energy. Our point is that each one of us can do things small and large in our every day life to use less energy and leave a better planet behind. For the fair, we try to print flyers on recycled paper, use cups, napkins and plates that are made from materials that are recycled or made from materials
that are recycled or made from corn; we sell water that uses a certain percentage of plant based materials for packaging. Every step helps. THIS WILL BE FUN FOR ALL AGES. WE HOPE YOU CAN ATTEND AND ENJOY ALL THAT WE HAVE TO OFFER.
