“You’re as young as you feel”, as most people say. Question is…do you look as young as you feel?
We all freak out about the inevitable fate of aging “chronologically” (it’s just a number).People invest in the latest and greatest lotions, creams, etc, etc. To be old is not an option we say to ourselves. For as long as I can remember, there has been an anti-aging campaign out there and it’s a profitable one. Woman (and Men too…I admit) invest some serious money in efforts to look good.
Sadly, the best way to stay young is not so much “what” to do (or use)…it’s more about “what not” to do. It’s very hypocritical for the anti-aging Warrior to be slopping on all those creams, products and popping those super-duper pills, supplements…..only to be going out boozing on weekends(even worse during week)and eating fried foods, sugar laden crap and expect to be looking like you’re in high school when you’re in your 40’s.Eating bad pulls essential vitamins and minerals necessary for keeping us youthful(in appearance especially).
EXERSISE is the fountain of youth as far as I’m concerned. Engaging in intense exercise DAILY will “slowdown” the aging process and keep your mind and body sharp…..IF….you EAT CLEAN. When I say “clean” I mean un-processed, not overcooked, not made with awful greasy and sugar loaded ingredients. EAT as RAW (fresh) as possible with fresh ingredients! Your body will use those good and fresh nutrients for several reasons and keep you looking young and feeling great! Avoid the grease and the body will be in peace!Getting back to exercise, I have always stuck to weight training and find it works best for me.
Nothing builds muscle better than weight training and provides to stimulus to your bodys systems to keep metabolism strong. Sure…there are other types, variations of resistance training (pilates, kettles, crossfit, etc, etc)but nothing “builds” muscle and changes your body(for the better “than weight training. Try them all out and find what works better for you but DO SOMETHING and EAT CLEAN!!Your life and longevity depends on it! If you choose to do otherwise that fine. Live your life and enjoy......BUT...do not judge or condemn us for our hard work. We don't tell you to put down the burger and fries so don't frown on us having a protein drink instead!

I just turned 47 last week. Been working religiously since I was 9 years old. Thirty eight years of throwing around that iron….yikes!I am hoping to push even harder and feel even younger as time moves forward. Even more important...push my clients to a better THEM!
You get what you give!!
