Former HHS Commissioner Endorses Foley for State Senate

John Stephen says Jim Foley will work to jump-start the New Hampshire economy.

Today, Republican candidate for State Senate Jim Foley announced the support of John Stephen.

Stephen is a former Republican gubernatorial candidate, former NH Health & Human Services Commissioner and current business owner.

“Jim Foley is a businessman and Marine Corps officer who has the leadership skills and the plan to help jump-start New Hampshire’s economy,” said Stephen. “Concord desperately needs more legislators who are not afraid to offer specific ideas — rhetoric, Tweets and talking points just don’t cut it. Jim Foley is one of those leaders and I am proud to endorse him for State Senate.”

Recently, Jim Foley rolled out a 5-point plan to jump-start the New Hampshire economy:

“I am excited to have John Stephen’s support in my race for State Senate,” said Foley, “John has been a leader in this state and across the country in health care, Medicare andMedicaid reform. He understands that specific ideas and creative thinking are what is needed to actually realize true government reform. I hope to do the same if given the opportunity to serve Derry, Hampstead, and Windham in Concord.”

Former Commissioner Stephen joins Senator Jim Rausch, former State Senator Bob Letourneau, former State Senator and Senate President Arthur Klemm, eight of the eleven Republican State Representatives serving Derry and Windham as well as Derry Town Councilor and former State Representatives Phyllis Katsakiores all in endorsing Jim Foley for State Senate in the Sept. 9, Republican Primary Election.
