Fugitive of the Week Caught in Massachusetts
Christopher Landry was wanted for parole violations after being convicted of reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon.

While the U.S. Marshals Service readily admits that the Fugitive of the Week is a great partnership with New Hampshire media outlets, it’s always a good thing when a wanted criminal, with dangerous, violent tendencies, can be taken off the streets early.
Such is the case of Christopher Lee Landry, 37, who was to be this week’s Fugitive of the Week feature. Landry was arrested in Massachusetts on Oct. 20, 2015, on two outstanding warrants – The first was issued by the Strafford County Superior Court for probation violations stemming from an original conviction and sentence for reckless conduct with a deadly weapon; and he second was issued out of the Hillsborough County Superior Court for failure to appear on a larceny charge.

“Even when a fugitive is scheduled to be featured as the Fugitive of the Week, the task force continues to diligently follow any and all leads in an effort to find the fugitive,” said U.S. Marshal David Cargill Jr. in a statement. “This case was no exception and fortunately, the task force was able to quickly zero-in on Mr. Landry this afternoon.”
Often, when a fugitive is featured as the Fugitive of the Week, marshals say they are fortunate to receive tips that point to the location of the wanted person. In this case, it was the investigative skills of the task force members that allowed us to locate and arrest Landry in Lynn, MA.

Landry will be processed in Massachusetts on a fugitive from justice charge. He will eventually be returned to New Hampshire to face the two other charges.
Landry’s capture was made by officers from the Strafford, and Rockingham County Sheriff’s Offices, Greenfield Police Department, deputy U.S. Marshals, and of several Lynn Police officers.
