UPDATED: Halloween Events and Activities in Windham
Here is a schedule for all of the spooky parties and festivals in town.

It's finally getting to be that time of the fall season, Patchers!
Halloween is nearly upon us which means events circulated around the holiday are creeping closer.

PICK YOUR OWN APPLES AT APPLE ACRES

NOW UNTIL OCTOBER 31
According to the Apple Acres website, there are still many varieties of apples on the trees for picking. Tractor rides are also available for pickers. The opportunity to pick your own apples is available until Halloween.
OKTOBERFEST AT BELLA VINO
OCTOBER 25-29
Bella Vino Specialty Wines and Gourmet will host its annual "Oktoberfest" which includes a Thursday Halloween celebration. There will be wine and craft beer tastings all week into Saturday. For the full schedule check out the Bella Vino website.
LION'S CLUB ANNUAL HALLOWEEN PARTY
OCTOBER 26: 6 to 8:30 p.m.
The organization has been hosting this event for around three decades, and the free party is set to take place at Golden Brook School this year. Children from toddlers up until third grade are welcome to attend. According to Lion's Club representative Fred Linnemann, the magician that normally attends this event is likely not going to be able to this year. Shriner clowns will still be making balloons for the children, and a box will be put out to donate Christmas gifts to Windham Helping Hands.
CASTLETON HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY
OCTOBER 28: 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Touted as the largest Halloween dance party in N.H., the Castleton will host its annual event three days before the holiday.
Costumes are optional for the party and the cost is $12 before 9 p.m. and $15 after that. In the past, around 300-400 people have attended. Head on over because for one night of the year, there is no dress code. A DJ is also provided.
HALLOWEEN SAFETY MAGIC SHOW AT NESMITH
OCTOBER 31: Begins at 10 a.m.
This event will take place at the Nesmith Library with musical children's entertainer Steve Blunt. Toddlers ages 18 months to 3 years are invited to join with a caregiver.
The program is expected to last 45 minutes and costumes are encouraged but not mandatory. Space is limited. For more information on how to register click here.
WINDHAM PD TRICK-OR-TREAT
OCTOBER 31: Begins at 4 p.m.
A flyer issued by the WPD is informing residents that goody bags will be given out at the department before the trick-or-treating hours. Safety books, glow-wear, and treats will also be given out to children.
TOWN TRICK-OR-TREAT
OCTOBER 31: 5 to 8 p.m.
The town's trick-or-treat hours were scheduled late last month for this time frame. Be sure to keep safe on the streets whether you are driving or walking around during this time.
DINING WITH THE DEAD AT WINDHAM RESTAURANT
OCTOBER 31: 7 p.m.
Ron Kolek, who serves as the founder and lead investigator of the New England Ghost Project will be at the Windham Restaurant. There will be a costume contest and late night séance. Psychic Maureen Wood will also be on hand and tickets are $49 per person. Drinks are not included and meals must be ordered in advance. Tickets can be purchased here and the cost includes the speaker, dinner taxes and the gratuity.
