Why are you seeking elective office?

I would like to help restore faith in town elections

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Restoring faith in town elections. Be an advocate for voting.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I believe I will be more assertive in establishing balance within the Supervisors. Balance so that people feel they can trust the Supervisors to be neutral.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

Failed is not the right word. I assume he is doing the job as he thinks it should be done. I would make the job more than it is currently. Expand the work to the limits of the Supervisor role as described by state law.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

Honest, Transparent. Assertive, Believer in democracy, Balanced, Detail oriented, No party affiliation

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have written published articles on voting issues. I have held elective office. I am a CPA

The best advice ever shared with me was:

Don't start fires when trying to get something done. Don't try in one big move what can be done in two smaller moves.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

There are three Supervisors elected every two years for six year terms. I am running to be one of them.
