Jazz Brunch and Art Show Promises to be a Good Time
Windham Endowment for Community Advancement invites all.

A tasty brunch buffet, smooth jazz and fine art all add up to a delightful event hosted by The Windham Endowment for Community Advancement today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Windham High School.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun,” said Diane Carpenter, president of the organization. “We have added some different things this year.”
The second annual Jazz Brunch and Art Show Auction will also coincide with the school districts student art show with pieces from students in grades kindergarten through grade 12 on display in the high school’s foyer.

Artists from “Whose Brush is it Anyway?” will be performing live throughout the event.
Calling themselves, “The Not So Fine Artists,” the group of six artist friends came up with an innovative idea for a unique art show.
Each artist picks a subject matter and starts their painting using their favorite medium – oil, acrylic, pastel, colored pencil, watercolor or pen & ink. Approximately every 45 minutes, each artist will move to the next artist’s workstation in a round-robin fashion. Each artist will apply his or her own knowledge and technique to the painting while working in the original artist's medium. When the show is over, all six artists will have worked on all six paintings.
At the end of the show, the paintings will be framed and entered into the auction.
The “Not So Fine Artists” are Patricia Crowley from Windham; Tina S. Gagnon from Salem; and Corinne Dodge, Susan Monty, Ingeborg Seaboyer and John Sweeney from Derry.
Proceeds from the event will support the Windham Endowment Scholarship Fund. The Windham Endowment for Community Advancement is a non-profit community foundation created to enhance the quality of life for all Windham residents, now and for generations to come.
