Jury Selected for Windham Resident's Rape Trial

The Union Leader reports the jury has been selected for the kidnapping and rape trial of former Windham resident and Salem Planning Board member Jeffrey Gray and opening arguments are set to begin Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Rockingham County Superior Court.

Prosecutors will argue the alleged 35-year-old female victim from New York was raped and assaulted by Gray after she came to his Windham home in March 2011, while Gray's attorneys will attempt to argue the sex was consensual, according to the paper. Gray has been in jail on $50,000 bail since his arrest.
