Large Brush Fire Reported in Windham

Firefighters are at the scene of a large brush fire on Bear Hill Road in Windham.

The initial call came in around 5 p.m. for a brush fire at 34 Bear Hill Road, according to emergency radio broadcasts. A large area of brush was reportedly burning, and a brush truck was called in from Pelham to help put it out.

As of 5:30 p.m., the fire had been about 75 percent contained, according to reports, and additional crews were being called to the scene.
