Londonderry Woman Dies in Windham Crash

A second woman was also injured during I-93 rollover this morning.

A Londonderry woman has passed away due to injuries during an early morning rollover crash on I-93 this morning.

Suzanne Darcy, 22, of Londonderry, was pronounced deceased at Parkland Medical Center after New Hampshire State Police were called to a rollover on the northbound side of I-93 near Windham at around 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 25, 2015.

Troopers found the motor vehicle on its roof and two occupants injured with life threatening injuries. According to Twitter alerts, one of the vehicle’s passengers was injected during the crash. The other passenger was trapped inside the vehicle. Both occupants were sent to Parkland Medical Center where Darcy was pronounced deceased. A second injured party was transferred to Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

The crash is still being investigated and a cause hasn’t been determined. The State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is handling the investigation. Troopers were assisted at the scene by Windham Fire and Rescue teams, the Rockingham County Attorney’s Office, and the NH DOT. Salem Fire and Rescue teams were also sent to assist with mutual aid, according to alerts. The left lane of the highway was closed while the incident was investigated and cleared.
