Man Arrested for Wrongfully Voting, Unsworn Falsification
NH AG: Derek Castonguay of Manchester illegally registered in Salem, presented an ID showing he lived in Windham in order to vote there.

Attorney General Joseph A. Foster announced today that Derek T. Castonguay of Manchester turned himself into authorities on Nov. 6, 2015, after a warrant for his arrest was issued earlier this week on the charges of wrongful voting and unsworn falsification.
Castonguay is accused of knowingly making a false material statement regarding his qualifications to vote in the town of Salem.
According to a press statement, the complaint alleges that during the state general election last year, Castonguay, while registering to vote in Salem, represented his address to be 11 Alfred Drive in Salem, which he knew to be false.

At the time, Castonguay was domiciled in Manchester.
Castonguay was also charged with unsworn falsification. the state alleges that on the same day, while voting in Windham, Castonguay presented to a ballot clerk, a driver’s license bearing the address of 44 Range Road in Windham knowing that address to be false.

Castonguay had previously registered at that address in September 2008. Both charges are class A misdemeanors, carrying a maximum penalty of 12 months in jail and a $2,000 fine.
Castonguay is scheduled to be arraigned on Dec. 14, at the 10th Circuit Court in Salem at 8 am.
