Man Walks Out of Lobster Tail Without Paying, Arrested on Four Charges

Timothy Russel Cass will be arraigned on June 26.

A Windham man tried to walk out of a local restaurant without paying on May 12 and was subsequently arrested on four charges, according to Windham Police.

Timothy Russel Cass, 27, of Marblehead Road refused to pay for services at Lobster Tail on Cobbett's Pond Road.

Cass was charged with theft of services after police responded to talk to him shortly after 12:30 p.m.

Windham Police Capt. Mike Caron also said that Cass' behavior in the parking lot brought about a disorderly conduct charge.

A subsequent search of Cass' car found drugs and alcohol. Caron described the alcohol as an open Miller Lite.

Caron did not give any details on the drugs, saying that they are at the lab for testing.

Cass was additionally charged with possession of controlled/narcotic drugs and transportation of alcohol beverages.

His arraignment is set for June 26 at 8 a.m. at Salem District Court.
