MicroSociety Academy Student Registration Continues

The MicroSociety Academy Charter School team has announced that following the passing of the student enrollment lottery deadline on March 30 there are still a limited number of vacant seats available for K-6 students at their new school opening this fall. The remaining seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis either by mail or at a MACS student registration session including this SATURDAY, APRIL 4, 12-2 PM at Nashua Public Library. ALL parents of accepted K-5 students will be notified by the MACS volunteer staff via email about their child’s status within the week.

The team now invites ALL NH parents who are interested in a unique, FREE, K-8 public charter school option for their children to submit their application for remaining available seats in a timely fashion. MACS will be located in Nashua easily accessible near highways/main roads and offer students an opportunity to learn the NH Common Core while giving students opportunities to create and operate the agencies and ventures of their own small society. Complete application packets, including required documents, will be accepted starting NOW for available remaining seats. After the 20 available seats in each class are filled, remaining student applications will be placed near the top of a class waiting list based upon the order the applications are received.

Application packets may be submitted via mail c/o MACS, PO Box 907, Nashua, NH 03060 OR at upcoming special in-person MACS student registration sessions, like the previously mentioned SATURDAY, APRIL 4 session at Nashua Public Library. During the in-person registration a copy of a child’s original birth certif./passport will be accepted if original is shown to the MACS volunteer during registration. If a parent decides to mail an application packet, they are asked to include both original & a copy with SASE if they want the original to be returned. Until MACS is authorized by the NH SBE, parents interested in Grade 6 will only need to submit the application.
