My Turn: How Hillary Clinton Will Stand Up For Working Families
As a candidate myself for State Representative, I am endorsing Hillary Clinton for president of the United States.
Members of Patch,
I write to you all today in support of Hillary Rodham Clinton for president. With Donald J. Trump as the Republican nominee, this country has a serious fundamental choice to make on where we want to stand for our future. Hillary not only takes what she is doing seriously, but has served many different titles in public service, each giving her a better understanding of how our country works and functions. As our First Lady, Hillary fought and helped create the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) which currently covers 8 million children. As the senator from New York, she helped insure 20 billion dollars in relief funding after the horrible terror attack that took place on 9/11. These are just a few of the many accomplishments Secretary Clinton has championed in her 22 years of public service.
After having the privilege to meet and speak with Hillary, I know that there is no doubt in my mind that she will lead this country to prosperity. As I talked to her about the challenges facing the granite state, she would shake her head in agreement, telling me about the struggles she faced in Arkansas and approached those challenges with optimism and dedication. This again reminded me of the famous quote for Hillary, "I've been called many things, but quitter is not one of them," everyone can agree that she will not give up. Not on us, not on this country. She will fight to build bridges, not walls. (Seriously, it's in her economic plan!)

Just comparing and contrasting both websites for Hillary and Donald, it's clear who has a plan and strategy and who will be ready on day one. On Hillary's website, she lists 37 issues with detailed plans and acknowledgements. On Donald Trump's page, there are less than 10 issues with little to no plans, just talk.He has neglected to post his economic and national security policies. It's become very clear that this election cycle has been less about the issues and more about who Donald can attack on Twitter. Donald even chooses to insult world leaders without a care or acknowledgment for how that effects our international relationships that we have spent decades building. I'm asking you to please, think before you vote this November. Do we want a leader who is all talk? or Do we want a leader with a plan and proven record?
