Charter Student Lottery Deadline Coming!

The new K-8 MicroSociety Academy Charter School of So. NH will be wrapping up their Fall, 2015 student enrollment lottery registration period for their first cohort of K-6 students on Wed., MARCH 25 @ 5:00 PM.

The new Nashua area charter school’s remaining student enrollment lottery registration drop-off dates will be:

TUES., MAR. 24 5:00-7:00 PM NASHUA LIBRARY Lobby (Lower Level)
WED., MAR. 25 3:30-5:00 PM NASHUA LIBRARY Lobby (Lower Level)

Completed registration packets may be brought in-person to one of these sessions or mailed to MACS, PO BOX 907, Nashua, NH 03060 before the March 25 (Wed.) @ 5:00 PM deadline.

The MACS student enrollment lottery (if needed) will be Mar. 30 (Mon.) @2:00 PM—NASHUA Library Theatre. Preassigned student numbers will be drawn during the “blind” lottery to determine if a student will be granted one of the 20 available seats in each of the K-6 class. After the lottery, parents will be notified of their child’s acceptance. Students who were not granted one of the seats as a result of the lottery will be placed on a waiting list in the order their number was drawn. Any remaining empty seats available in any of the classes following the lottery drawing will be filled thereafter on a first-come, first-served basis during MACS Registration/Info. meet ups (TBA) and by post-marked mail to the above address.

The MicroSociety theme will integrate “best practice” teaching of the NH Common Core Curriculum, STEM and provide students with the opportunity to create and operate the various agencies and ventures of their own society within the school setting.
