Night Construction on I-93 Between Windham and Derry to Start Sunday
The state Department of Transportation is advising motorists about lane closures on Interstate 93 between Exits 3 and 4.
For five nights, traffic will go down to one lane on both northbound and southbound sides of I-93 between Exit 3 in Windham and Exit 4 in Derry, the state transportation department announced Tuesday.
The lanes are being closed for night construction, on the ongoing project to widen Interstate 93.
Weather permitting, the work will start Sunday at 7 p.m., and go through Friday morning, Sept. 2. at 6 a.m.

According to the department's press release, "drainage work on the northbound lanes will extend from mile marker 9.0 to 10.6. Southbound milling and paving work will be performed from mile marker 10.2 to 10.6."
The DOT is advising drivers to "remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and
obey all posted signs."
