Night Work Coming To I-93 This Week
NHDOT: Be prepared for lane reductions on the southbound side of the highway from all day Wednesday to Thursday morning.

WINDHAM, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation has issued an announcement warning I-93 users that night work is expected on the highway this week, as part of the Rebuilding I-93 project. About a half mile of the highway – between the Exit 4 interchange to the Windham weigh station – will be down to one lane as part of the night work, weather permitting. The construction is expected to take place on Wednesday, May 24, and continue through Thursday, May 25, 2017, until around 4:30 a.m., according to officials.
“This will require traffic on I-93 to be reduced to one lane and will take place during non-commuter hours,” according to the alert. “Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.”
The work that will take place during this time will consist of paving and line striping the southbound lanes into a new temporary configuration.
