Openings for Town and School Officials
Here is your complete list as well as the town filing period.

Starting on Jan. 25, Windham residents will be able to file their paperwork for the town elections in March.
According to Town Clerk Nicole Merrill, that filing period will last until Feb. 3 at 5:00 p.m.
In total, Merrill said that there are 14 positions open for town officials, including her own. She added that she will "of course" be seeking re-election.

Those openings are listed below.
Board of Selectmen: Two positions (three years)

Planning Board: Two positions (three years)
Zoning Board of Adjustment: Two positions (three years)
Town Clerk: One position (three years)
Town Moderator: One position (two years)
Treasurer: One position (three years)
Supervisor of the Checklist: One position (six years)
Trustee of the Cemetery: One position (three years)
Trustee of the Library: One position (three years)
Trustee of the Trust Fund: One position (three years)
On the Board of Selectmen, Board Chair Ross McLeod and regular board member Roger Hohenberger are the officials with terms expiring.
Board members Carolyn Webber and Pam Skinner both have terms expiring on the Planning Board, while Board members Tom Murray and Dianna Fallon are those finishing terms on the ZBA.
There is no word yet whether any of these officials will be filing for re-election, but we will have that information for you as soon as possible.
Also, there will be two openings for three years each on the school board this year, as Chairman Ed Gallagher and regular member Jeff Bostic have both finished their terms. We will also post whether they will be running again as soon as we have that information.
