Please join me in re-electing Dennis Senibaldi to the Windham School Board!

Dear Windham Friends and Neighbors:

I am writing to publically add my support to the many who support Dennis Senibaldi in the upcoming School Board election. Windham is fortunate to have a candidate of his caliber and dedication. He has served our town well over the past three years. Whether it be re-examining the school calendar, addressing overcrowding issues our schools are facing, addressing new curriculum requirements or changes, maintaining our schools’ educational excellence under a strict fiscal regime, or selecting a successor for Superintendent. Dennis has been active and engaged in understanding complex problems, goal-oriented in resolving major issues, thoughtful in understanding community concerns, and strongly committed to doing what is best for the children of Windham.

Dennis has deep roots in the community, having lived in Windham for sixteen years with his wife Ann. He is a proud father of three children, all of whom are currently attending Windham public schools. Although he has children in the Windham school district, his commitment to the Windham public schools goes far beyond the interests of his own children. He cares deeply about the quality of education for all our children and he has advocated fairly for students, families, teachers and administrators. Dennis owned and operated a demolition company for over twenty years and currently works at the Windham Transfer Station where he has worked for nearly seven years, getting to know thousands of residents on a more personal level who go through there on a daily basis.

Dennis’s ties to Windham go far beyond his family involvement and work history. He has served on various Windham boards and in leadership positions and both he and his wife, Ann have volunteered for various local organizations and in the school system, dedicating their time to our children and our community. He has volunteered for cub scouts and boy scouts over the past several years as well as coached for town sports, including soccer. He has embraced volunteer opportunities in the Windham schools, stepping forward year after year to chaperone school trips and activities as well as becoming involved in community events for the past ten years, including Easter Egg Hunt, Daddy Daughter Dance, Senior’s Christmas Party, Tree Lighting, Harvest Festival and many others.

If elected, Dennis would put his considerable energy to work on behalf of all the parents and children in our excellent Windham School District. His platform is simple and direct. He does not come with an agenda but rather a pledge to listen to the needs of parents, teachers and children in the school district, and to act upon those interests. Dennis is invested in our town, in our schools and in our children.
