PTA Hosting Electronics and Mercury Event

A clothing collection will also take place.

All sorts of household items will be collected by the Windham Parent-Teacher Association during an event at Windham High School this weekend.

The 2012 Electronics/Mercury Collection will take place on June 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

At the event, household materials such as televisions, cell phones and fluorescent bulbs.

The breakdown of materials and charges is listed below, with all proceeds going to the Windham PTA.

Televisions up to 27 inches: $10

Television from 28 inches to 50 inches: $20

Television console or projection: $25

Computer monitors: $10

Residential VCRs, Printers, Scanners, Laptops, Computers and Cell Phones: $5

Fluorescent Bulbs, Thermostats, Thermometers and Clothing: Free of Charge.

The event is co-sponsored by Covanta Energy of Haverhill, Mass. and LL&S Waste Wood Processing of Salem, N.H.
