Request Granted: Liberty Utilities Gets Its Increase
Average electric bills to rise by $50 per month.
The Public Utilities Commission has approved a requested price increase by Liberty Utilities, according to WMUR-TV.
The NH PUC met on Sept. 30, to consider the request the company made last week and later, approved the request, with the board suggesting that customers find ways to reduce electricity usage in order to offset the cost, according to the report.
Liberty Utilities stated that the main cause for the requested increase was energy supply and distribution.
