Sheriffs Arrest Sandown Woman On Drug Dealing Charges

Rebecca Hunter was arrested on sale of Oxycodone after an investigation by Plaistow and Windham Police as well as Rockingham County.

BRENTWOOD, NH — A local woman was arrested yesterday on drug dealing charges, according to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Department. Rebecca Hunter, 22, of North Road in Sandown, was arrested on April 2, 2018, on two counts of sale of a controlled drug-Oxycodone. According to a press statement by Sheriff Michael Hureau, Hunter was arrested after an investigation by county task force members from both the Windham and Plaistow Police Departments, along with sheriffs.

“Hunter was arrested for selling pills in the Plaistow area,” he alleged. “Hunter was out on bail at the time of her arrest, she is currently being held at the Rockingham County Jail on $2,500 cash bail.”

Sheriffs previously arrested Hunter on Nov. 8, 2017, on a judge's order to arrest for possession of a prescription drug-Ondansetron, on a judge's order to arrest for possession of a controlled drug-Oxycodone, and on a judge's order to arrest for possession of marijuana.

Hureau thanked police for their help in the case.
