State Police Investigating OD at I-93 Rest Stop

Manchester woman is in critical condition after incident in Salem this morning.

The New Hampshire State Police are investigating a drug overdose incident at the Salem rest area on I-93.

According to Sgt. Steven Callinan of Troop B, troopers were sent to the rest area around 7:30 a.m. this morning for a medical call. When they arrived, they found a 22-year-old woman from Manchester unconscious.

“(The woman) was transported to Holy Family Medical Center in Methuen, MA, and treated for an overdose of illegal drugs,” according to Callinan. “She is currently listed in critical condition.”
