State Police Seek Info About I-93 Crash that Injured Elderly Woman

Did you see a light colored sedan crash into an elderly woman walking on I-93 South on Friday night in Windham?

New Hampshire State Police are asking for the public’s help in

According to a press statement, on Friday, Sept. 26, at around 10 p.m. State Police, Windham Police, and Windham Fire and Rescue teams were called to a motor vehicle crash on I-93 South in Windham in which a 74-year-old woman was seriously injured.

“ Though witness statements differ slightly, the victim, Carmen Rozon of Lawrence, MA, appeared to be walking in or near the left travel lane when she was struck,” according to Sgt. Bryan Trask. “ She was transported to Lawrence General Hospital with serious injuries.”

The vehicle that struck the woman was described as “a light colored sedan.” The vehicle stopped briefly and then, left the accident scene.

State Police are seeking to identify this vehicle and its operator and are asking anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
