Windham's largest community gathering is just around the corner. The 33rd Annual Friends of the Library of Windham (F.L.O.W.) Strawberry Festival and Book Fair will be held on Sunday, June 5th, from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., at Windham High School. Festival. Activities are planned for both inside the high school and on the school’s ground. In the event of rain, all activities will be moved inside the school.
The busy event will feature everything from food, games, entertainment, raffles, informational booths and even a dunk tank. The book fair will also be taking place at Nesmith Library leading up to the June 5th festival.
The Strawberry Festival is not only one of the largest community events in Windham each year, but it is also the primary fundraising event for the Nesmith Library. Join thousands of citizens from Windham, and nearby towns, as they come together to celebrate community, purchase books, play games, listen to music, watch performers, have a bite to eat, enter raffles to win fantastic prizes, and, of course, enjoy delicious homemade strawberry shortcake.
