Teen Killed, Two Others Injured During I-93 Crash
UPDATE: Fire and rescue teams, New Hampshire State Police were sent to a single-vehicle crash this morning.

WINDHAM, NH - Windham and Derry Fire and Rescue teams were called to an early morning crash on I-93 North this morning that took the life of a teenager and injured two others, according to New Hampshire State Police.
The crash, according to an alert, occurred at around 12:15 a.m. on May 8, 2016, near Exit 3. According to NHSP, the operator lost control of the vehicle struck a guardrail.
“The accident scene and debris field stretched approximately 80 yards,” according to Sgt. B Viglione of the NHSP. “The driver, a 19-year-old male was ejected from the vehicle and transported from the scene to Parkland Medical Center by ambulance. The driver succumbed to injuries suffered from the crash at the hospital.”

Two passengers – a boy and a girl, both 17 – were transported to Lawrence General Hospital with injuries. The Interstate was shut down for about 30 minutes. The incident is currently still under investigation.
State police, at post time, had not released the name of the victim.
