Traffic Shifts Coming to Route 111, Route 111A

Changes on Aug. 11, at Exit 3 in Windham at part of the Rebuilding I-93 project.

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will open new portions and shift traffic on NH 111 and NH 111A in Windham on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, according to a press statement. NH 111 westbound traffic will shift to the reconstructed lanes on the north side and a second lane will be striped and opened for eastbound traffic on the south side. All NH 111A traffic will be diverted to and onto the new signalized intersection and roadway between Klemm’s/McDonalds and the Citizen’s Bank (at NH 111) and The Common Man Restaurant.

"These operations will utilize lane closures and traffic shifts that may result in minor delays to NH 111/NH 111A traffic," according to a press statement from the NH DOT. "This work is weather dependent and could be delayed due to inclement weather. Message boards, uniformed officers, flaggers, and traffic control devices along NH 111/NH 111A will be used to provide advanced information and direct motorists through the work zone."

In addition, Range Road will be closed to thru traffic in the interim between West Shore Road and east of The Common Man; but will remain open for local traffic. This closure will remain in place for approximately six weeks while the connector road is constructed in this area.
