Two Men Arrested After Nearby Drug Bust
Thomas Reagan, Sean Trudel were arrested after police and a county task force executed a search warrant on Pineridge Road in Pelham.
PELHAM, NH — Two men were arrested on drug charges after a raid at a Pelham home earlier today. Thomas L. Reagan, 27, pictured left, of Pelham, was arrested on Aug. 10, 2017, on three counts of sale of heroin. Also arrested was Sean M. Trudel, 39, of Manchester, for possession of fentanyl. Pelham Police Department along with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department’s Street Crime Task Force executed a search warrant on Pineridge Road today, according to Capt. Stephen Toom.

“This investigation began last week when detectives developed information that a Pelham resident was allegedly selling heroin out of his home,” Toom alleged. “During our investigation, we were able to gather evidence supporting drug sales at this Pelham home. In addition, investigators believed the product actually being sold was possibly fentanyl.” (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Windham NH Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)

During the warrant search, Reagan was arrested. Trudel was then allegedly located outside of the home, in possession of drugs, Toom stated.
“Trudel attempted to swallow the drugs as officers approached him,” Toom alleged. “Officers were able to recover that evidence before he could swallow the drugs. During the search of the home, officers located unpackaged white powder that was exposed on a table. Reagan identified this powder to be fentanyl.”

Due to possible exposure, officers put on hazmat gear to recover the evidence safely, he said. That evidence allegedly included the fentanyl powder, cash, and additional drugs.
Reagan was held on $10,000 cash bail and will be arraigned tomorrow in Salem District Court. Trudel was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Aug. 28.
“The Pelham Fire Department was called out to stand by as a precaution during the search,” Toom added. “Fortunately, no officers were injured from fentanyl exposure during this operation.”
