Two Salem Businesses Relocating to Windham

Town planners approved the relocation of two Salem businesses to Windham last week, with both set to move to 8 Rockingham Road.

The Dance Connection, which is currently on 224 North Broadway and Cubicle Solutions Inc. on 23 Northwestern Drive are both making the leap.

According to Cubicle Solutions representative James Littlejohn, Dance Connection is making the move after 20 years of business in Salem.

Cubicle Solutions is just moving its corporate office, and already houses its New Hampshire warehouse at the Rockingham Road location.

"The office will be used for all administrative duties," said Littlejohn. The office staff will utilize 9 of the parking spaces in front of the building."

Dance Connection will take up 15 of the 81 total spaces for its employees, but the hours of the businesses do not have a lot of overlap.

The studio specializes in jazz, tap, ballet, gymnastics and Zumba among others.

According to its website, Cubicle Solutions was established in 2001 and also has warehouses in Saco, Maine and Saugus, Mass.

The company offers services such as office furniture installation, corporate relocation, refurbishment and repair, auditorium seating, classroom seating and floor covering.

"Both businesses look forward to bringing services and employment opportunities to the community," Littlejohn said.
