Unger: Regina Birdsell puts progress ahead of politics
Regina Birdsell is the only candidate in Senate District 19 with a proven record of working with both sides of the aisle

The voters of Derry, Hampstead and Windham have been fortunate to have Senator Regina Birdsell representing them in Concord. Regina has been focused on her constituents' needs and has always put progress over political games.
Over the last two years Regina has sponsored and co-sponsored a number of pieces of legislation and worked with legislators from both sides of the aisle to get them passed. A great piece of bi-partisan legislation she sponsored will now allow businesses off of I-93 to advertise prior to the exit ramp which will attract more visitors to the businesses of Windham and Derry as they drive through.
When it comes to energy policy Regina has continuously worked with everybody to do what is right for New Hampshire. She co-sponsored legislation to provide protections to ratepayers and help explain their energy bills, she co-sponsored legislation that will add biodiesel to the Renewable Portfolio Standard and simultaneously lower the cost of the program and heating oil for ratepayers, and she joined with 18 of her fellow Senators to raise the net metering cap which will allow New Hampshire’s solar industry to continue to grow and create new, clean energy jobs.
