WHS National Honor Society Asking for Community's Help to Honor Veterans
Honor the veteran in your life by submitting his/her picture to be featured in a slideshow at the WHS tribute to veterans assembly.
On Thursday, Nov. 6, the Windham High School National Honor Society will be presenting a video at a school assembly in honor of Veteran’s Day, featuring the photos of veterans who have an association with the town of Windham. We are looking to pay tribute to as many of these heroes as possible.
If you or someone you know is a veteran, we you urge to submit a photograph with the veteran’s name and connection to Windham written on the back. Please drop off your photo in the office at Windham High School in an envelope labeled “Veteran’s Day.” If you submit a hard copy of your photo, please include return information. You may also email photos to Lisa Roeder at lroeder@windhamsd.org with the above information included in your email. All photos should be submitted by Friday, Oct. 24.
