Windham High School Band Accepted to National Festival
When they go, the musicians will be the first New Hampshire high school band to participate.
The Windham High School band is the first New Hampshire band to be accepted to the Music for All National Festival in Indianapolis, IN, according to a story in the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune.
The festival will be held in the middle of March 2015, and students and faculty are hoping to be able to raise enough money for the trip so that all 87 members can attend.
The band will start practicing four days a week once school starts in August. The organizers of the festival will visit the school in September and the music director will go to Indiana in November to check things out there.

This is the fourth national festival the band has been invited to perform in.
