Windham Man Charged with Felony for Driving

Aqulino Guerriero faces a felony charge due to his habitual offender status, along with other charges.

Aqulinio Guerriero, 22, of 2 Bradford Road was arrested Aug. 21, charged with driving while being certified as a habitual offender, a class B felony; driving without giving proof, a class A misdemeanor; and driver’s license prohibitions, a class A misdemeanor.

Guerriero also had an outstanding electronic bench warrant for non-appearance in court on an original charge of receiving stolen property.

On August 21 at approximately 6:58 a.m., members of the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Patrol Division stopped the vehicle Guerriero was driving on Spring Street. A records check confirmed Guerriero’s license status was revoked as he was certified as a Habitual Offender. It also showed his
financial responsibility status was suspended for cancelation of insurance and the outstanding electronic bench warrant.

The felony offense is punishable by up to five years in prison, exclusive of fines. Each misdemeanor offense is punishable by up to a year in jail, exclusive of fines.

Guerriero refused bail and is being held at the Nashua Police Department pending arraignment at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court.
