Windham Named to SafeWise 20 Safest Cities in NH List

WINDHAM, NH — The latest rankings of safe communities in the Granite State put together by The SafeWise Report is out and Windham made the Top 20, according to the rankings. The study analyzed FBI crime data from 2014 along with population data.

Windham was listed as 11th in the state.

Many of the safest “cities” on the list aren’t cities at all but, instead, are towns. The org removed all communities with fewer than 3,000 residents as well as any community that failed to submit complete data to the FBI.

According to the data, Atkinson is ranked No. 1 in the state, followed by Danville, Chester, Nottingham, and Weare.
