Windham Newcomers Annual Spring Social

Windham Newcomers & Friends held their annual spring social on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 at the Searles Chapel. This year’s social had a high tea theme which gave the attendees an opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of delicious tea sandwiches, cookies and tea. About twenty-seven members attended the event to catch up with old friends and meet new members. The social will close the very busy 2016 – 2017 season of organized Newcomers activities, which include trying local eateries for Lunch Bunch, enjoying monthly reads with Book Bites, share cooking skills in Recipe Club, play the game of Bunco with friends, and many more activities. There are a variety of activities offered for everyone and the group is active from October through May.
