Windham Newcomers & Friends Winter Social

Fun evening for members

Windham Newcomers & Friends held a Winter Social on January 15, 2019 at Tuscan Kitchen in Salem. The social event was well attended with 33 members enjoying a fun evening of food, friendship and socializing. For a bit of fun, the members participated in a White Elephant exchange. To do something for others, donations were collected for Shepherd’s Pantry in Windham. As a treat, the members listened as Roni Hewitt reminisced of her many years spent in Windham ....who now at age 94 still lives in her original home built in the early fifties. Roni was involved in Welcome Wagon in the 1960’s and now enjoys being a member of Windham Newcomers & Friends.

This Winter Social was one of the many wonderful activities planned by the organization. The Windham Newcomers & Friends is a women’s social club for both new and existing residents. You do not have to be a new resident to join in the fun. If you would like more information about the Windham Newcomers & Friends, visit us online at windhamnewcomers.com.
