Why are you seeking elective office?

To volunteer my time in service of the town. It was time I stepped up and participated in the process, win or lose. It's the "man in the arena" idea put forth by Teddy Roosevelt. At some point you should get off the sidelines and get involved.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Inflation and unstable markets pressure any income generated by town trust funds while there is always a need for oversight of the distribution of such town resources in order to ensure an orderly and compliant allocation hitting checks and balances along the way. I merely intend to help oversee such distribution to prevent any misallocation and weigh in on decisions pertaining to any investment choices.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

My opponent has faithfully served on the board previously and would make a competent representative. My 20 years in Fintech and as a global consultant represent recent real world oversight, auditing, and investment experience putting me in an excellent position to fill the Trustee role in a manner matching the level of faith the citizens of Windham demand. New blood to a cause is not always a good thing. Change for the sake of change is not appropriate. Here, with my candidacy, you are bringing new citizens into town governance partnered with capability.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

They haven't and I won't throw stones claiming they have.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

The simple protection of town resources are my core concern. Whether that be its finances, its citizens, its land, etc. Windham is a special place and it will take great effort and numerous volunteers in order to maintain it.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

VP of Global Advisory Services for a unicorn Fintech in my current role as well as ever higher positions at Toyota, Royal Bank of Scotland, and FIS make me uniquely positioned to bring a world class view to the Trustees.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

Smoother is faster...Go in like a lamb and out like a lion.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
