Woman Injured After Flipping Jeep

Windham police and fire officials were on the scene last hour.

A woman suffered minor injuries today after rolling over her vehicle near the corner of Cobbett's Pond Road and Cedar Road.

Windham fire and police officials were on the scene of the accident, which took place at around 2 p.m. WFD Lt. Scott Delaney described the woman as in her 20's or 30's when looking at her from a distance, but said that he did not have contact with her.

The woman was transported to Parkland Medical Center in Derry for treatment.

Delaney described the car as a Grand Cherokee. He said the vehicle flipped right in front of 2 Cedar Road.

The road has been reopened for use. There were no other passengers in the vehicle and the woman was outside of the car when officials responded.
