Reported Fire Turns Out to be Ruptured Steam Pipe
Firefighters responded to the call around 5:20 p.m. Friday.

A reported structure fire in a Bradford Street home wound up being just a ruptured steam pipe.
A working fire was reported in a 2-story wood house at 2 Bradford St. around 5:20 p.m., according to emergency radio communications. Smoke was reportedly showing from the roof of the building.
Within minutes, however, firefighters were able to determine that it was just a ruptured steam pipe in the attic, and not a fire.
