Wrong-Way Driver Arrested on I-93

Juan Arango, 25, of Lowell, Mass. was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

New Hampshire State Police arrested a Lowell, Mass. man on Saturday for driving the wrong way on Interstate 93.

Around 1:45 a.m. Saturday, state police said they came across a wrong way driver on I-93 in Derry. The vehicle was traveling south in the northbound lane, stopped just south of Exit 4 in Derry. He is believed to have traveled south from Exit 5 in Londonderry.

The driver, Juan Arango, 25, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

State police said his blood alcohol concentration was measured at more than double the legal limit. No bail information was available. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Derry District Court on Feb. 22.
