10 NJ Stop & Shop Stores Are Closing: Here’s When
The supermarket chain is shuttering 32 underperforming locations across the Northeast, and anticipates they will close this fall.

NEW JERSEY — Ten New Jersey Stop & Shop locations will close by early November, as the supermarket chain looks to restructure its footprint in the Northeast.
Stop & Shop has close to 400 stores across five states, and is shuttering 32 underperforming locations in New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island.
The company said all of the impacted stores "are anticipated to close on or before Nov. 2, 2024," and that it will communicate specific store closing dates to local customers "well in advance."
