2 Best Friends Split $1M Win In NJ Lottery
One of the friends plans to get a beach house and the other is saving for retirement, lottery officials said.

NEW JERSEY — A pair of best friends are splitting a $1 million New Jersey Powerball win, the state lottery announced in a post on X Sunday morning.
"Best friends share everything from inside jokes to fond memories, and in this lucky pair's case, the excitement of splitting a $1,000,000 Powerball prize!" the New Jersey Lottery said.
One of the friends plans to get a beach house and the other is saving for retirement, lottery officials added.

The pair's names have not been revealed and they are covering their faces with their checks in the official photo for their big win. The lottery has also not revealed where they are from and where the ticket was sold.
