New Details On Weekend Storm In NJ
However, how much of an impact the Garden State faces depends on what track the storm takes.

NEW JERSEY — Most of the Garden State is likely to see up to 2 inches of snow this weekend as another winter storm heads into our area, according to the latest forecast.
Light snow will coat the state late Friday into Saturday, National Weather Service forecasters said. With small accumulations, an advisory may be issued for South Jersey.
"Elsewhere, likely an essentially non-event," the National Weather Service said in its Wednesday morning briefing.

The storm, which is heading to us from the south, could take a northern track, AccuWeather forecasters said.
"Not only would such a storm bring a substantial amount of snow to cities such as Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City, and even Boston from Saturday to Saturday night, but it would also increase winds along the coast on par with a major nor'easter," AccuWeatherChief Meteorologist Jonathan Porter said, "However, this scenario is much less likely--say only about a 15% chance of occurrence--but still poses enough of a threat to be monitored closely."

What's likely is that the track goes somewhere between this northern one and a straight east one. In that case, South Jersey will still likely see a few inches of snow and slippery roads.
AccuWeather forecasters predict 1 to 3 inches of snow across New Jersey.
In the meantime, it will still be very cold. Wind chill could make it feel like below zero on Thursday.
After that, temperatures will warm very slight - up into the mid-30s, with light winds to decrease the wind chill.
