$2M Powerball Ticket Sold In NJ, Second In 1 Week

No one won Wednesday's $124 million jackpot. The next Powerball drawing will be held on Saturday.

NEW JERSEY — A Powerball ticket for Wednesday's drawing worth $2 million was sold in New Jersey just days after a similar winning ticket was purchased in Essex County, according to state lottery officials.

The winning New Jersey ticket matched Wednesday's five white balls of 15, 26, 27, 30 and 35. The lucky winner also purchased the multiplier, making the ticket worth $2 million. The red Powerball was 3.

The ticket was the only second-prize winner in the country, according to Powerball's website. It was sold by Jackpot.com, a Middlesex County-based courier.
